Kadampa Buddhism in Prague

Happiness from Within

Buddha taught the basic wisdom that Happiness is a state of mind and that we need to apply inner – mental – methods in order to solve our problems and to gain true happiness.
But – what is the mind?
What is its nature?
How does it function?
How can we work with our own mind in order to be happy?
By understanding our mind our attitude towards ourself and all aspects of our life will change. Applying profound buddhist psychology we can gradually gain control over our experiences.
In this course we receive explanations on the book „How to understand the mind“ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, emphasizing the practical application in our daily life, and we transform our knowledge into inner experience by meditating on it. I
n this way Kadampa Buddhism in Prague can be relevant to everybody in everydays life.
The course is open to everyone, no previous knowledge is required.
Everybody is welcome.
